Part of my life is spent organising trips for international staff at my husband’s university. This past weekend I took 45 academics to the island of Møn in the south-eastern part of Denmark. This island is particularly famous for its white cliffs (similar to the Dover cliffs in England), lovely beaches, rolling hills and the old merchant town, Stege. If you’re in Denmark, I highly recommend a visit!
Enjoying the beauty in Stege, I love these quirky pictures from the 1400′s on the ceilings of Stege Kirke (this one looks like a wife is being punished for trying to poison her husband?!?), typical old Danish streets in Stege, random sunflowers, it’s pretty important you know when you’re going when you take 45 people on a 5 km hike – thank goodness for technology and a helpful bus driver…, our group when we arrived at the wrong hostel and the stunning Møns Klint.
