Originally when I started blogging almost six months ago, I was concerned I’d be alone in my endeavour to provide a blog for like-minded Moms. I was wrong. In the last six months I have met many other Vancouver Moms who have been following similar dreams, not only online but in other areas – and doing it all with such style and panache.

These women have been a great encouragement to me and one such simply stylish Mom – Jennifer Gray (above, with me and two above, with her daughter Shaughnessy) recently celebrated the fulfilment of her dream.

Her wonderful store JENNYFLEUR LOVES... in Yaletown, Vancouver turned one two weeks ago and I attended Jennifer’s party with fellow blogger Petra (above far right), from The Style Lounge. It was a lovely evening and I thoroughly enjoyed browsing (my favourite pieces were from Maison Scotch – the women’s collection from Scotch and Soda) and meeting other inspirational Vancouver women such as stylist Nicolette Lang-Anderson. I am forever in awe of women like Nicolette (below), who new to Vancouver started her own business and already eight months in, she is widely known and working with other Vancouver designers, photographers and stylists.
