What I wore Wednesday: A life interrupted

Linking up with one of the loveliest blogs, The Pleated Poppy (check out the other outfits!) with some of my daily Mommy outfits – and note they’re not as fancy as other bloggers pictures of themselves because 1) i don’t have a fancy camera 2) i am not photogenic at all and c) i have two little ones who like to be within 1 metre of me at all times…

My super comfy, everyday outfit: I love this sweater (Ben Sherman, hand-me-down from a girlfriend), paired with swapped t-shirt, my daily bangles (gifts from Mom and H&M), my latest jeans (BDG cigarette jeans) from Value Village and my newest pair of adorable cobalt blue loafters (Value Village).

Trying to style my $2.50 teal (can’t tell the awesome colour in these pictures) skinny jeans – with my cute interruptions. Jeans (thrifted), T-shirt (Asos), Sleeveless Trench (F21-on sale!), Necklace (church garage sale)

Here with wrap (Anthropologie) and the comfiest ballet flats ever (Old Navy - on sale!)

this one – had to steal a moment outside to escape the boys. here i was trying on some pieces i purchased BK (before kids) as i was doing a major wardrobe cleanse – i thought, either i wear them now, or i donate them! Cardigan: thrifted, Top: Review, Jeans: 7 for All Mankind ($40 at Barneys warehouse sale!), Shoes: Value Village, Necklace: a boutique in London (gift from husband), Hat: Asos

How do other style blogger Moms take get their pictures taken without our lovely interruptors? Would love to know…

xxo, SSM

  1. Nap time! She sleeps for 1.5 hours. Not sure what I will do when naps stop. I guess I won’t have nice pictures anymore haha or I will have to take them in batches. On the same day.

  2. I love all of these gorgeous outfits, so lovely! I actually take most of my “style” posts (if you could call them that:) with my girls, otherwise it would be beyond crazy. My oldest seems to enjoy it more than I do!

  3. cute cute cute! love the last one and the tan vesty-coat thingy…it’s super cute! i think that 1) the kids make your pics look real and 2) you DO dress like a cool fashionable mommy!
