When perusing local designers recently, I came across Bueno Style and was fortunate enough to meet Christi York, Bueno Style’s designer at a local craft fair. I fell in love with all her pieces and purchased a cocktail ring for myself which I absolutely adore. What I love about Bueno Style is that the pieces are made of recycled vintage jewellery reworked into funky, beautiful, stand out pieces. Christi launched Bueno Style in January 2007 and she uses most vintage discontinued glass and brass filigrees, beads and lockets from the 1920-80s. Christi will even work with pieces you have eg. inherited jewellery from your great-great aunt, creating a custom piece of jewellery you’ll actually wear! Check out some of her designs here.
